Plant breeders could take advantage of the very good traits in local coastal maize landraces to develop hybrids. Topic outline: 1. Morphological Characterization; 2. Biodiversity of local coastal maize landraces;3. Drought tolerance of local maize landraces; 4. Resistance of storage pest of local maize landraces and 5.
