Abstract
E-learning, Open University Education, Vision 2030 and Cell phone
data transfer has put information managers, learners, educators,
scholars and financier’s in institutions of higher learning at
crossroads of either sticking with the print media or embracing emedia.
0 Access, management, staffing, user’s skills, funds, licenses and
infrastructure are evident challenges faced by all.

the situation at Masinde Muliro University Library. The research
used purposive and snowball methods in an explorative design by
indulging in an in-depth face to face interview of respondents
drawn from PhD, Masters and Bachelors degree students.
0 Findings are tabulated and evaluated using Moon stats and output
presented in tabular / pie chart formats. Probable suggestions and
recommendations are given.
